Early 1950, the Walloon dairy landscape is fragmented into a multitude of local dairies. Various combinaisons, spontaneous or "intended", big or small, happy or difficult, near and far, are taking place in the following decades, culminating at the end of the century to the existence of five Walloon dairy cooperatives.
Two of thes, LAC+ and the LAITERIE DE CHEOUX buy in 2001, in equal shares, the entire industrial site SOLAREC established in Recogne (Libramont).
Almost 10 years later, the rich of their common experience, they fully integrate their cooperative activities buy structuring in a single enterprise, the LAITERIE DES ARDENNES.
Active since January 2010 and strong of 1900 co-producers established inthe 10 belgian provinces, LDA Coop is now fully installed in the Belgian dairy landscape.
